Camel Fighting
Camel fighting Traditional sport in western Turkey that developed as a diversion in winter, when cold weather made farming impossible and forced nomads from their mountainside pastures. Winter is the only time a camel will fight because it is its mating season. The sport consists of two camels pushing each other until one falls to the ground, often taking only a minute.
