Dora Abril is a veteran in the real estate industry since 1983 who enjoys an impeccable reputation for hard work, strong people skills and quality customer service. As her responsibilities have grown over the years, so has Dora’s knowledge and understanding of the business, and the respect she has earned both from colleagues and clients alike.

Formerly with MLB Kaye, Dora joined Prudential Douglas Elliman in 1991 as an administrative assistant who later transitioned into the firm’s Relocation Division. She currently serves as office manager for the corporate headquarters office at 575 Madison Avenue, where she works closely with company President Steven James handling day-to-day operations. This Associate Broker and Senior Vice President also wears many other hats in her demanding role, including that of liaison between all PDE office managers in Manhattan, and hirer/supervisor of all administrative professionals.

A consummate professional, Dora is always looking to make improvements in her office. She loves her work, and continually exhibits great patience, leadership, dedication and passion that inspire those around her.

Originally from Manta, Ecuador, Dora is fluent in English and Spanish. She majored in Business Administration and minored in English at Baruch College. Dora and her husband have lived in Queens, NY for more than 25 years, where they’ve raised their children. She thinks that “New York City rocks!”, and very much enjoys not only working in Manhattan, but exploring all the new restaurants, Broadway shows and family activities it has to offer. Dora is a member of REBNY and a New York State notary public.
