Where is my registration key?

If you have paid for your product via our online order form, you will receive an email with a receipt, download link, and copy of your registration key. This information is also displayed within your web browser after you complete the checkout process.

Copy your registration key from the email and paste it into the dialog that opens under the Key menu of the application. Be sure to keep a copy of your registration key and receipt in a secure area.

Where do I enter my registration key?

In order to "unlock" your Ultralingua product, you will need to enter your Registration Key into the application. This is a menu option within the Ultralingua application. The menu options are located across the top of the window.

The Key entry menu option is located in a slightly different place depending on which version of Ultralingua product you have, but you can generally find it by looking for the following key phrases, words, or their equivalent: "View Licenses", "Enter License Key", "Enter Registration Key". If you are unable to find this menu option, please email our support team so we can help you resolve the issue.

When entering your key, be sure to enter it exactly as it appears, including the part with your name after the dash. The easiest way to do this is to simply copy and paste your key from your confirmation email.

Why doesn't my registration key work?

If you get a "Bad Key" message, please try the following:

  1. Check to make sure you have entered the key exactly as it appears in the email we have sent you. The best way to do this is to copy the key from our email and paste it directly into the Key dialog (under the Key menu).
  2. Note that the Key generally includes your name or your company name; it will not work without the entire key being entered.
  3. Check to make sure that your receipt shows that you ordered the right product. For example, if you have mistakenly ordered the French Dictionary and Thesaurus instead of the French-English Dictionary (bilingual translating dictionary), the key will not work.
  4. Check to make sure that you have ordered the right platform. For example, if you have mistakenly ordered a Windows product when you need a Macintosh version, the key will not work.
