Meet Adrian: We're Glad We Did!

We're really excited to introduce you to one of the best developers in town, Adrian Trunzo. We snatched up Adrian just weeks ago and brought him on the team to finish up some projects and help our other developers make the apps you love.

Adrian's love for programming stemmed from his video game days as a kid. After a lot of learning and programming practice, Adrian was ready for work as an Ultralingua intern.

Now he's back on the team after almost one year and he's ready to tackle more projects. It's kind of a funny story about how he initially became connected with Jeff, our Chief Technology Officer. Read the story in the full interview with Adrian on our blog.

Mike Boldrick on the Peace Corps and Re-learning the Spanish Language

"I arrived in Mexico with only the Spanish I remembered from junior high school nearly 40 years ago."

Remember Mike Boldrick? We talked to him about one year ago and learned all about his upcoming Peace Corps trip to Mexico. We recently checked in to hear about his journey and he had quite an inspiring story to tell about the Peace Corps experience, learning the Spanish language, and connecting to the culture.

Mike is part of the technology transfer program, a program in the Peace Corps that is unique to Mexico. Though he is halfway done with the program, he still has lots to do.

Mike has a lot to share about his living conditions, starting to speak and write in Spanish again, and using his favorite Ultralingua apps. One Year in Mexico - An Update from Mike Boldrick is a recap of Mike's experiences in Mexico.

Follow his blog, too, for more insight into the Peace Corps and life in Mexico.

Ultralingua Celebrates Earth Day

Most of you are aware that Earth Day has passed, but that's no reason to forget about it. To celebrate Earth Day, our team went out together early on a Saturday morning to clean up Minnesota's Como Lake and the park surrounding it.

If you didn't get the chance to participate in an Earth Day event, there's still plenty of volunteering to be done! Check out the Earth Day Network page for a list of opportunities in your area!

Our Marketing Coordinator, Ashleigh, took tons of pictures during the clean-up. If you participated in an Earth Day event, share your experience with us on Facebook or Twitter!
